Those who think we can't afford to fund education and scientific research need to realise that we can't afford not to! If I seem biased towards physics, it is because that is what I got my degree in, at York. I obtained my MSc at Brunel.

I spent 20 years publicising events, organised by the London & SE Branch of the Institute of Physics, through press releases and leaflets. I am now on the committee of the Physics' Communicators' Group - a subject group of the Institute of Physics.
